The Gospel Research Foundation

The Gospel Research Foundation is an educational ministry headed by Dr. Brad Young, Associate Professor of Biblical Studies in the Graduate School of Theology at Oral Roberts University. Dr. Young has dedicated his life since his youth to the study of the Jewish background of early Christianity and through the foundation seeks to impart his extensive knowledge throughout the Christian church.

The Gospel Research Foundation is working to provide teaching materials on the New Testament that are based upon a solid understanding of Christianity's Jewish roots. One of the projects that it has undertaken is the production of a commentary on the New Testament based on Talmud, Midrash, the Dead Sea Scrolls and all that can be learned about ancient Judaism. The foundation is also working to produce scholarly books and academic articles to shed light on the teachings of Jesus and to communicate his message effectively to others.

Dr. Young and the foundation are also working extensively to build bridges of understanding between the Christian and Jewish communities through the medium of education. Both Christianity and Judaism need a more accurate perception of the teachings of the other in order to facilitate the dialogue that can be so helpful to both communities.

Restoration Foundation commends Dr. Young and Gospel Research Foundation for the practical work that they are doing to make a difference in the church's understanding of Judaism and its relationship to Christian faith.
