Christian Friends of Israel

Christian Friends of Israel is one of the premier organizations in today's world that is doing the work of supporting Israel and the international Jewish community both in word and deed. Headed by Ray and Sharon Sanders and administered by men and women of great character and love, Christian Friends of Israel provides a vehicle through which believers the world over can demonstrate their love and support for the Jewish people and especially those who make up the nation of Israel.

Among the practical programs funded and administered by Christian Friends of Israel are the following:

Project Open Gates: From their distribution center in Jerusalem CFI is assisting new immigrants, who are making aliyah from such nations as Russia, with clothing, medical supplies, and household goods and furnishings. These immigrants often leave for Israel with practically nothing.

Project Doors of Hope: CFI is helping both Jewish and Christian Arab organizations in Israel with various kinds of aid for those who are economically or socially deprived.

Forsake Them Not: Through this program, Christians can be a blessing to survivors of the Holocaust, helping to "restore the health and bind up the wounds" of those who have suffered so much (Isaiah 30:17).

Project Together Again: CFI is helping bring together Ethiopian families and is assisting them in making the adjustment to Israeli life.

Plant-A-Tree Program: Through Keren Kayemet Association in Israel, CFI is planting groves of trees to help restore the land of Israel in a fulfillment of Leviticus 19:2.

Restoration Foundation heartily endorses the important work that Christian Friends of Israel is doing both in Israel and around the world to love and support the Jewish people.
