Bridges for Peace

Bridges for Peace is a Jerusalem-based, multi-faceted, Christian, non-profit organization dedicated to the building of sincere relationships between the Christian and Jewish communities, while encouraging greater concern for the land and people of Israel.

Founded in 1976, Bridges for Peace seeks to be a ministry of hope and reconciliation. Through programs both in Israel and worldwide, they are giving Christians opportunities for active expression of their Biblical responsibility to be faithful to Israel and the Jewish community. President Clarence Wagner's integrity and commitment to Israel are applauded in both the Jewish and Christian communities.

Bridges for Peace is committed to these goals:

**Interpreting Israel to Christians around the world in the light of the bible and today's events.
**Providing counsel and channels of service for pro-Israel groups and individuals who desire to actively support and bless Israel and the Jewish people.
** Working to combat anti-Semitism and all forms of prejudice and misunderstanding between Christians and Jews.
** Bringing Christian concerns to the attention of appropriate Israeli leaders and to the Jewish community at large.
**Developing and providing a variety of study materials and aids to churches, schools, tour groups, to prepare Christians for an in-depth understanding of Israel and the Jewish roots of our Christian faith.

*Programs include the following:

Dispatch from Jerusalem: Bi-monthly news and information publication
Jerusalem Prayer Letter: A monthly letter of teachings on Israel and the Jewish roots of Christianity, prayer requests, and items of current concern
Operation Ezra: A program of social assistance providing practical help to a variety of worthy projects in Israel, including assistance to Jewish immigrants in Israel from around the world and Israel's poor
Chai (Life) Nights Prayer and Study Groups: Monthly intercessory prayer program sponsored by individuals and churches around the world to "pray for the peace of Jerusalem"
Bridges for Peace Forest in Israel: Located on Mt. Tabor, this forest gives Christians the opportunity to help in the greening of Israel.

Restoration Foundation heartily endorses Bridges for Peace and its international ministry promoting love and support for Israel and the international Jewish community, constructive Jewish/Christian dialogue, and the restoration of Christianity's Jewish roots.
